How do I get so lucky?

Is there any way that I could be more blessed than having this amazing career with these wonderful clients? I think not! I have been so fortunate as to photograph this sweet family twice!! You can see their last year's session blogged about here. I must say that nothing pleases me more than when families choose me to capture their life again and again! There is no bigger compliment! As always, I was honored to be a part of your fun family, Kristin! Although we had to work a little harder this year, I think it was completely worth it!!! Your beautiful babies were captured in their true sweet selves and I adore each photograph!!! :)

This adorable little man is a new friend to Melibelle and I'm SO happy he was referred by this sweet family. I had an absolutely wonderful time getting to know them and capturing their sweet family!

A new Nephew!

My brother-in-law had a new little baby boy and you know I was right there to take his photographs!! I have been fairly vocal about my love for capturing the fleeting memories of a newborns first days, so you can imagine how happy it makes me to do this for our families! We spent the afternoon loving on this little man and capturing a few portraits in between! And a special shout out goes to grandma who saved the day with a trip to Target to buy a bean bag... which I left at home!! Bad photographer! We were making do without but she made it so much easier by getting one! :) Thanks again! :)

i love capturing the detail of newborns!! It all fades so fast...the peeling skin, how tiny every thing is, and he has an amazing pair of lips!! :) He could be a lip model... if there is such a thing!! :)

This sweet girl came to Melibelle through a referral from one of my favorite little men, which is the HIGHEST compliment I can get from my clients & friends! Needless to say, I was honored to take Miss K's photos one sunny beautiful day at the arboretum. She was the bell of the ball so to speak... everyone that walked by had to stop and interact with her and gush about how sweet and cute she was. She was the most well behaved toddler going as far as Momma telling her to stand here and smile and she actually would!! She's under 2... it was crazy awesome!! :) And lucky for me, they asked me to take little bro's newborn pics, so I got to play with them again a few weeks after these photos where taken! :) I love my job! :)

I was lucky enough to be a part of this special family before Miss K came into the picture! It's always a treat to see a family before and after a new baby and experience the dynamic change of bringing a wonderful new being into their everyday life! This family did not disappoint... they've changed and adapted to this lovely little girl in their life like she was always there. By simply being in their home for a few hours, you can just feel the family closeness and love and I count myself privileged to have been a part of this special time in their life!

The start of baby time with Melibelle!

Newborns are my favorite…and this is absolutely no exaggeration! I spend obscene amounts of time with them because I seem to have endless ideas running wild through my head for their shoots and I simply cannot control myself! I just adore taking pictures of these precious new little beings! This little man wasn’t as young as I typically prefer for a newborn shoot and therefore he was more awake and cognizant of his surroundings, but he is so adorably cute that I really didn’t care one bit!

And this little man is incredibly lucky to have two amazingly caring big sisters and a big brother...I can see a lot of trouble in their future!! :) He is one lucky little baby!! :)
